How ChatterEase helps

Quotes your price list accurately

Your services, lengths and starting prices are answered the same way every time, so you're not quoting from memory with a brush in one hand.

Handles bridal and event enquiries

Bigger services bring the most back-and-forth. It answers what's included and, on Growth and Pro, takes the client's details so you can follow up properly.

Stops interrupting appointments

Clients get an answer straight away instead of waiting for you to finish with the person in your chair.

Set it up in an afternoon

A simple plan anyone can follow. Start on the Free plan and upgrade only when you outgrow it.

  1. Start with your price list

In the Train tab, add your services and prices page. If your price list is a PDF or Word file, upload it. This one source answers the question you get most.

  2. Add your policies and team

Add your booking and cancellation policy, opening hours and location, staff bios, and your bridal or event page if you have one.

  3. Pin your deposit and cancellation rules

In the Q&A tab, pin the exact wording of your deposit, late-arrival and cancellation rules, and your patch-test policy for colour if you have one. These are the answers clients quote back to you, so they should never be reworded.

  4. Test it like a new client would

Ask "How much is balayage?", "Do you do men's cuts?", "Can I book for Saturday?" and "What if I'm late?". It should answer the first three from your pages and point to your booking link for the last one, not promise a slot.

  5. Turn on lead capture for bigger jobs

On Growth and Pro, turn on the lead capture form so bridal and event enquiries come in with a name, an email and a note of the date. Add suggested question chips like "Prices" and "Bridal".

  6. Install it on your booking pages

Copy the script from the Embed tab and add it site-wide. There are guides for Squarespace, Wix, WordPress and the other common salon website builders.

Each screen is explained in the docs. Rather have someone show you? Get a demo.

After launch, read the Conversations tab now and then to see what people ask, and add any missing answers to your pages or the Q&A tab. Growth and Pro add full conversation analytics, including busy hours and top questions.

What it should answer, and what it should hand to a person

The AI agent answers from your own pages and files. Some questions need a person, and it should pass those on instead of guessing.

What it should answer

  • Your services and starting prices
  • How long each service usually takes, if you publish it
  • How to book, with your booking link
  • Your deposit, cancellation and late-arrival policy
  • Which stylist or therapist does which service
  • Opening hours, location and parking

What it should hand to a person

  • Checking or holding a specific appointment slot
  • Bridal parties and group bookings
  • Exact quotes for colour corrections and other custom work
  • Skin or scalp reactions and any treatment that needs a consultation
  • Complaints and redo requests
  • Refunds and deposits (it cannot take payments)

ChatterEase cannot take payments, change orders, look up order status or book appointments in your other systems. It shares your links and passes those requests to your team. On Starter a visitor reaches you through a contact form. On Growth and Pro you also get an email alert when someone asks for a person.

See it in action

Questions people ask, and what a good answer looks like.

How much is a haircut and blowout?

A haircut and blowout starts at [your price] for short hair and [your long-hair price] for long. Colour and balayage start at [your colour price]. Want me to pass on a booking request?

Do you do bridal hair?

Yes, we offer [your bridal services]. Packages start at [your package price] and include [what's included]. Leave your email and I'll pass it to the team with your date.

Do you have any availability this week?

I can't see the diary, but I can pass a request to the team with your preferred days and times. Leave your name and email and someone will confirm a slot with you.

These are templates, not transcripts. Text in [square brackets] is where your own details go: your menu, your hours, your policy. ChatterEase answers from content you give it, so the specifics it gets right are the ones you have already written down.

What to train ChatterEase on

Start with these. Add each one as a page address, or upload it as a PDF, Word (.docx), text or markdown file.

  • Your full service and price list
  • Bridal and event service details
  • Staff bios and specialisms
  • Booking and cancellation policy
  • Opening hours and location
  • Products you stock and recommend

Getting leads from it

The jobs worth a follow-up are the bigger ones. Price and hours questions should get a straight answer with no form in the way.

When to ask for an email

  • Bridal, prom and event enquiries, with the date
  • Colour corrections that need a consultation
  • Group bookings for parties or hen dos
  • A client who wants a slot that's not shown online

Don't put a form in front of a simple price question. If the answer is on your price list, let it answer.

What you get

  • A lead capture form in the widget, on Growth and Pro. Starter has a contact form for passing a visitor to a person.
  • A leads inbox (the Leads tab) with each person's name, email and message, on Growth and Pro.
  • An email alert when a visitor asks for a person, on Growth and Pro.
  • CSV export of your leads, on Pro.
  • Webhooks on every plan, to send new leads to Zapier, Make, n8n or your own endpoint.

Which plan fits

Start on the Free plan, then paid plans run from $14.99 a month. No card is needed to start, and each paid plan includes a one-time 14-day trial.

Our suggestion

Starter

$14.99 /monthor $11.99/month billed yearly

1 AI agent · 500 conversations a month · 10 documents

A small salon whose main need is answering price, hours and policy questions can start on Starter. One AI agent and your price list cover most of what clients ask.

Move to Growth when you want bridal and event enquiries captured with an email alert, or a greeting bubble on your price page. Salons with several locations or their own brand on the widget may want Pro.

Paying yearly takes 20% off. Local tax calculated at checkout.

Questions about an AI agent for salons & beauty

Can it book appointments into my salon calendar?

No. It cannot see or change your booking system. It shares your booking link and policies, and on Growth and Pro it can collect a name and email, plus a note of the preferred time, so your team can confirm. That way you keep one diary, not two.

Will it give away my prices to competitors?

It only shares what you train it on. If you would rather discuss price privately, leave prices out of the training content and have it offer to connect the client with you instead.

How much does an AI agent for a salon cost?

Start free, then Starter is $14.99 a month, Growth is $29.99 and Pro is $49.99. Paying yearly takes 20% off, and you don't need a card to start. Local tax is added at checkout. A small salon can start on Starter and move to Growth later for lead capture on bridal and event work.

How long does it take to set up for a salon?

Most of the work is gathering what you already have: your website pages and a few files. You add those in the Train tab, test it with real questions, pin a few exact answers in the Q&A tab, then paste one script tag on your site. The setup plan on this page goes step by step, and the docs cover each screen. Your price list and booking policy are enough to get started.

Will it quote the wrong price?

It answers from the pages and files you train it on. If the answer is not in your content, it says it doesn't know, and when a visitor keeps getting that, it offers to put them in touch with your team. It can still be wrong if a page is out of date or unclear, so test it after changes and pin exact replies in the Q&A tab for anything that must be word for word. If you change prices, update the page or file and retrain. Pin your deposit and cancellation rules so they never change wording.

What happens to what clients type into it?

Conversations are saved to your dashboard so you can read them in the Conversations tab and see what people ask. Anything you train it on can show up in an answer to any visitor, so only use content you would be happy to publish. Ask visitors for no more than you need, usually a name and an email address. Skin and allergy details are better discussed with you directly, so have it pass those to a person.

Does it work on my salon website and on phones?

Yes. ChatterEase works on WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Webflow, Squarespace and HTML sites, and anywhere else you can add a script tag. There is a step-by-step guide for each platform. The widget works on phones as well as computers, and Pro adds advanced mobile layout controls. Most clients will find you on a phone, so test it on one before you go live.

Works on the website you already have

One script tag. No rebuild and no move to a new website.
