2. Cookies We Use
We keep the list short. ChatterEase does not run advertising, and it does not use third-party marketing or web-analytics trackers. Every cookie we set is essential, so there is no consent banner to dismiss.
Essential cookies
These are needed to sign you in and to protect the site. They cannot be switched off without breaking the product.

Browser storage used by the embedded AI agent
These are set in the visitor's own browser, on the website where your AI agent is installed, not on chatterease.com. They let the widget remember what it has already shown that visitor, so it does not repeat itself.

The * is the AI agent ID, so each AI agent keeps its own separate values.
Preferences we store on your device
These are not cookies, but they do the same job, so we list them for completeness. They stay in your browser and never leave it.

3. Managing Cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies will affect your ability to log in and use ChatterEase, because they are what keeps you signed in.

- •Edge: Settings → Privacy, search and services → Cookies
Clearing our local storage
The preferences listed in section 2 are held in your browser's local and session storage rather than in cookies. You clear them the same way: by clearing site data for chatterease.com in your browser. ChatterEase then treats the browser as new, so dismissed notices can appear again.
4. Third-Party Cookies
A few of our providers set their own cookies when you use the parts of the service they run:
- •Clerk sets authentication cookies when you sign in.
- •Supabase sets an authentication cookie when you use the application.
- •Our payment provider sets cookies on its own hosted checkout and customer portal. Those are on the provider's domain, not ours, and appear only when you go to complete or manage a payment.
Each provider's own privacy policy governs the data it collects. Clerk: clerk.com/privacy. Supabase: supabase.com/privacy. For our payment provider, email privacy@chatterease.com and we will point you at their policy.
