AI Customer Support Agent for Hotels & Hospitality
Answer guest questions about check-in, amenities, parking and the local area from your own pages, so the front desk spends less time on the same questions.
Free plan, no card needed
Sound familiar?
The same questions, over and over, on the days you least have time.
Front desk is the first stop for questions the website already answers
Guests message at all hours about check-in and amenities
Staff repeat local recommendations and directions constantly
Arrival is the busiest hour, which is the worst time to answer questions
How ChatterEase helps
Answers the arrival questions early
Check-in times, luggage storage, parking and amenities are answered before the guest reaches the desk, when your team is busiest.
Shares your local guide
Neighbourhood recommendations, transport options and nearby attractions are answered from your own content, at any hour the guest is awake.
Fewer repeat questions at the desk
Repetitive guest questions stop taking up the desk's attention during check-in, when guests notice every minute of delay.
Set it up in an afternoon
A simple plan anyone can follow. Start on the Free plan and upgrade only when you outgrow it.
Add your arrival and policy pages
In the Train tab, add your check-in and check-out page, policies (pets, children, smoking, cancellation), and parking and directions. Upload your guest information folder as a PDF or Word file if you have one.
Add amenities, rooms and your local guide
Add your rooms page, amenities with opening hours, breakfast and dining information, and any neighbourhood guide you've written.
Pin the policies guests quote back
In the Q&A tab, pin the exact wording of your check-in and check-out times, cancellation policy, pet policy and any city tax or deposit. These should never be paraphrased.
Pin your urgent-help reply
Pin a reply for emergencies and in-room problems that gives your front desk number and tells guests to call emergency services if needed. Test it with "There's a leak in my room" and "I feel unwell".
Test the questions guests ask before arrival
Try "Can I check in early?", "Is breakfast included?", "How do I get here from the station?" and "Do you have a room for Friday?". The last one should go to your team or your booking page, not get a promise.
Turn on lead capture and install it
On Growth and Pro, turn on the lead capture form for group and event enquiries, and the greeting bubble for your rooms page. Then add the script from the Embed tab to your site. The WordPress guide covers the common setup.
Install guides for your website
Each screen is explained in the docs. Rather have someone show you? Get a demo.
After launch, read the Conversations tab now and then to see what people ask, and add any missing answers to your pages or the Q&A tab. Growth and Pro add full conversation analytics, including busy hours and top questions.
What it should answer, and what it should hand to a person
The AI agent answers from your own pages and files. Some questions need a person, and it should pass those on instead of guessing.
What it should answer
- Check-in and check-out times, and your early and late policies
- Amenities and their opening hours
- Breakfast, dining and what's included in each room type
- Parking, directions and transport from the station or airport
- Pet, children and cancellation policies
- Local recommendations from your own guide
What it should hand to a person
- Room availability, rates and new bookings
- Changing or cancelling an existing reservation
- Anything urgent or a problem in the room (give the desk number)
- Payments, deposits and refunds (it cannot take payments)
- Group, wedding and event enquiries
- Complaints and special requests that need a yes or no from staff
ChatterEase cannot take payments, change orders, look up order status or book appointments in your other systems. It shares your links and passes those requests to your team. On Starter a visitor reaches you through a contact form. On Growth and Pro you also get an email alert when someone asks for a person.
See it in action
Questions people ask, and what a good answer looks like.
What time is check-in?
Check-in is from [your check-in time]. [Your early check-in policy, if you offer one]. Checkout is [your checkout time], and late checkout is [your late checkout policy].
Do you have a pool?
Yes: [your pool or amenities summary and hours]. [Other amenities: fitness, spa, parking]. If you'd like to reserve [a spa slot or table], I can pass the request to the team.
Can I leave my bags before check-in?
[Your luggage storage policy, including hours and any size limits]. Just ask at the front desk when you arrive.
These are templates, not transcripts. Text in [square brackets] is where your own details go: your menu, your hours, your policy. ChatterEase answers from content you give it, so the specifics it gets right are the ones you have already written down.
What to train ChatterEase on
Start with these. Add each one as a page address, or upload it as a PDF, Word (.docx), text or markdown file.
- Check-in and check-out times and policies
- Amenities list with hours
- Room types and what's included
- Parking and transport information
- Local attractions and neighbourhood guide
- Breakfast, spa and dining information
Getting leads from it
For a hotel, the follow-ups worth having are the bigger bookings and the special requests. Day-to-day guest questions should just get an answer.
When to ask for an email
- Group bookings, weddings and corporate stays
- Meeting room and event enquiries
- A guest asking about dates your booking engine doesn't show
- Special requests that need a staff decision
Don't ask a guest for an email before telling them the check-in time or the Wi-Fi details.
What you get
- A lead capture form in the widget, on Growth and Pro. Starter has a contact form for passing a visitor to a person.
- A leads inbox (the Leads tab) with each person's name, email and message, on Growth and Pro.
- An email alert when a visitor asks for a person, on Growth and Pro.
- CSV export of your leads, on Pro.
- Webhooks on every plan, to send new leads to Zapier, Make, n8n or your own endpoint.
Which plan fits
Start on the Free plan, then paid plans run from $14.99 a month. No card is needed to start, and each paid plan includes a one-time 14-day trial.
Our suggestion
Growth
$29.99 /monthor $23.99/month billed yearly
3 AI agents · Unlimited conversations a month · 25 documents
We suggest Growth for most independent hotels and guesthouses. The greeting bubble can welcome visitors on your rooms page, lead capture handles group enquiries, and the email alert tells you when a guest asks for a person.
A small guesthouse that just wants arrival questions answered can start on Starter. Each property should have its own AI agent so nobody gets the wrong pool hours: Growth includes 3 AI agents, and groups with more properties should look at Pro for unlimited AI agents.
Paying yearly takes 20% off. Local tax calculated at checkout.
Questions about an AI agent for hotels & hospitality
Can guests book a room through the AI agent?
No. It cannot book rooms or see your availability. It shares your booking link and policies, and on Growth and Pro it can collect a name and email, plus a note of the dates, for your reservations team. Rates and inventory stay in your booking system.
What if a guest has an urgent problem in the room?
Set up a clear escalation path before you go live. An AI agent should never stand between a guest and an emergency. Pin a reply with your front desk number and emergency services, and put the desk number where guests can easily see it.
How much does an AI agent for a hotel cost?
Start free, then Starter is $14.99 a month, Growth is $29.99 and Pro is $49.99. Paying yearly takes 20% off, and you don't need a card to start. Local tax is added at checkout. We suggest Growth for an independent hotel. Groups with more than 3 properties need Pro for an AI agent per property.
How long does it take to set up for a hotel?
Most of the work is gathering what you already have: your website pages and a few files. You add those in the Train tab, test it with real questions, pin a few exact answers in the Q&A tab, then paste one script tag on your site. The setup plan on this page goes step by step, and the docs cover each screen. Your arrival, amenities and policy pages are enough for a first version.
Can it give guests the wrong information?
It answers from the pages and files you train it on. If the answer is not in your content, it says it doesn't know, and when a visitor keeps getting that, it offers to put them in touch with your team. It can still be wrong if a page is out of date or unclear, so test it after changes and pin exact replies in the Q&A tab for anything that must be word for word. Seasonal hours are the usual cause, so update those pages when hours change and retrain.
What happens to what guests type into it?
Conversations are saved to your dashboard so you can read them in the Conversations tab and see what people ask. Anything you train it on can show up in an answer to any visitor, so only use content you would be happy to publish. Ask visitors for no more than you need, usually a name and an email address. Ask guests not to type card or passport details into the widget. It does not need them.
Does it work on my hotel website and on phones?
Yes. ChatterEase works on WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Webflow, Squarespace and HTML sites, and anywhere else you can add a script tag. There is a step-by-step guide for each platform. The widget works on phones as well as computers, and Pro adds advanced mobile layout controls. Guests often check details on their phone while travelling, so test it on one before you go live.
Works on the website you already have
One script tag. No rebuild and no move to a new website.
